Regional eCommerce Manager - Full Service Franchised | Hilton Worldwide | Dallas, TX
JOB SUMMARY
Primary point for hotels and regional teams to engage with the Global
Online group to drive hotel online revenues and contribution, through
management of 'opt-in' eCommerce services such as local and regional
promotions, local paid search, local email, local websites, landing
pages, etc. to exploit existing brand resources (ensuring activities are
aligned with brand strategy). Promote, drive engagement and manage
delivery of all eCommerce programs, leveraging existing brand programs
and communication vehicles.
Executes brand level e-promotions at regional and local level and
manages retailing on International and Americas source market website
with brands and local teams. Knows and adheres to all overarching brand
standards around voice and message but customizes for target audience
and market (i.e. localization) as needed.
Trial and implement new local services and share Best Practices with
Global Online for onward communication / sharing with Brands, Customer
Marketing and other eCommerce teams. Optimize all eCommerce programs
including local hotel website, localizing and publishing appropriate
local, regional and global promotions, consistent with Brand guidelines.
Support the Brands, Customer Marketing, HSW, HPS, and regional teams in
executing global programs in the local online market through
localization, management and retailing of source market website, and by
modifying existing programs to support seasonal brand messages.
Collaborate with 'Brand Managers-hotel tools and resources' to ensure
brand messages (webinars/training) are shared with hotel GM's and
franchise/management groups so visibility and option of best
demonstrated practices and ROI is shared to support engagement of these
resources also to provide analytics ROI and efficiency when programs
should be leveraged and reviewed to be automated by the Brands across
all hotels.
Ensure appropriate communication with other regional teams and back up
to central brand teams to ensure alignment and optimum execution,
globally and locally. Continue to seek-out and develop new forms of
cutting-edge technologies for test-and-learn applications to drive
competitive advantage, revenue and plan ROI
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Four (4) year college degree
- Four (4) years of experience in an online marketing and ecommerce role
- Three (3) years of website optimization experience
- Successfully used MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for one (1)
or more years
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a project management role being
responsible for working with and coordinating cross-functional teams to
deliver an end product and meet deadlines
- Two (2) or more years of experience analyzing data and presenting the
findings and subsequent recommendations to internal and/or external
customers
- Two (2) or more years experience and a solid understanding of online
search (SEO, paid, organic, etc)
- Two (2) or more years experience maintaining internal or external
customer relationships and satisfaction
- Two (2) or more years of experience increasing website awareness and
traffic
- Two (2) or more years of experience working with a brand and adhering
to brand standards while also customizing the message for a target
audience and market (i.e. localization) as needed in an online
environment
- Ability to travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advance degree in business studies or marketing
- Hospitality experience
